As an information security analyst, you will play a critical role in protecting the credit union’s digital assets. You will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating security threats, developing, and implementing security policies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will collaborate with multiple teams to develop security solutions and respond to security incidents.

Your areas of responsibility will include:

Security Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze network traffic, system logs, and alerts for suspicious activity. Identify and respond to potential security incidents.

Threat Intelligence & Risk Assessment: Conduct threat intelligence research to stay updated on current and emerging threats. Perform risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.

Incident Response and Investigation: Investigate security incidents to determine root cause, impact, and remediation steps. Coordinate with relevant teams during incidents.

Policy and Compliance Support: Assist in the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Documentation and Reporting: Produce and provide reports and presentations that outline findings, explain risk positions, and recommend changes. Maintain records of security incidents, investigations, and outcomes.

Security System Configuration and Implementation: Design and execute security solutions for various security tools such as AV, DLP, Email, and others as required.

Collaboration and Support: Work closely with IS and other departments to support security initiatives and projects. Provide security related guidance and support to various teams within the organization.

Security Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors during pen tests and assessments.

The role is a hybrid position, which will include at least one day a week in the office along with the potential of working extra hours and weekends, dependent on active incidents or new security implementations. The hours for this position are 8:30 AM – 5 PM Monday through Friday as well as other hours as needed that could include Saturdays and Sundays. This individual must live in the Twin Cities metro area in order to provide support to our Minnesota branch locations as needed.

This is a Full-time, Hourly Position with Benefits.
