Job Summary:

Brown-Wilbert is a family-owned manufacturing and service business that operates in the Midwest and is actively hiring a part-time (25-30 hours/week) temporary (3-6 months) Human Resource Assistant who will help carry on the tradition of over 100 years in business.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Gather, review and upload employee files into the ATS/HRIS System.
  • Create new electronic hiring process.
  • Assist HR in updating records, verifying compliance in all areas.
  • Create documents informing staff on the operation of current Human Resources systems and processes.
  • Conduct various audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization and employees.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn how to use organization's HRIS platform.

Education and Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in human resources or in a position where confidentiality and attention to detail was key.
  • Experience with manufacturing and distribution organizations preferred.

Additional Requirements:

  • Position is onsite in Roseville, MN
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
