Job DescriptionJob DescriptionOur client is a Retailer with seven locations.
This position 100% onsite. Candidates must be willing and able to commute into the office 5 days a week.

Assist with financial and tax audits
Document and monitor internal controls and assist in verifying implementation of those controls
Take responsibility for maintaining the Company’s general ledger
Be able to answer questions regarding posting of transactions as to where they should be assigned
Perform account reconciliations of key balance sheet accounts
Prepare financial reports
Take responsibility for the month end closing process
Perform other accounting duties as assigned

RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Accounting REQUIRED.
2-3 years of general accounting experience, either in public accounting or private sector
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to meet deadlines
Perform work independently and collaborate with others on projects
Familiarity with accounting software and programs
Superior analytical and problem solving skills

This position 100% onsite. Candidates must be willing and able to commute into the office 5 days a week.
