Job Description:

The Operation Specialist plays a pivotal role within our Custody Bank, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of various operational processes critical to maintaining the integrity and security of our clients' assets. This position demands meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to excellence in execution.

Responsibilities:

Trade Settlement and Confirmation: Reconcile trade settlements promptly and accurately, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Corporate Action Processing: Manage corporate actions, ensuring timely notification to clients and accurate processing in accordance with their instructions.

Cash Management: Monitor cash movements within client accounts, reconciling cash positions daily and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.

Account Reconciliation: Conduct regular reconciliation of client accounts, identifying and investigating discrepancies to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with other departments to resolve outstanding items and maintain up-to-date records.

Documentation and Reporting: Managing the vast amount of documentation associated with custody operations, including account statements, trade confirmations, and regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Prior experience in custody operations, securities processing, or financial services industry preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
