Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Service Electrician with a strong background in low-voltage systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in customer service, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical systems efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to service calls from commercial clients, primarily focusing on tenant improvement projects.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team to coordinate service appointments and provide updates on project status.
  • Generate leads for upgrades on new electrical systems and provide recommendations to clients for repairs, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Perform repairs and troubleshooting on electrical systems up to 480 volts, ensuring compliance with the National Electric Code.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose issues in low-voltage systems from the IDF/MDF rack to the end device in commercial settings.
  • Conduct repairs and troubleshooting in front of clients, demonstrating professionalism and expertise.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to enhance client satisfaction and increase loyalty.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Maintain and organize the company's work truck, ensuring it is stocked with necessary tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical wiring, repair, and troubleshooting of systems up to 480 volts.
  • Confidence in troubleshooting low-voltage systems from the rack to the jack, with a focus on commercial settings.
  • Ability to read blueprints, run conduits, wire and terminate devices, and perform quality control testing.
  • Working knowledge of installing electrical systems in both new and existing settings.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and criminal background check upon acceptance of an offer letter.
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving record is a must.
