Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical construction, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management
    • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine project scope, locations, quantities, and sizes of materials required
    • Identify all necessary tools and equipment for tasks
    • Conduct site inspections to identify safety risks and implement necessary precautions
  • Electrical Installation
    • Assemble and install electrical equipment, including termination of wires and cables
    • Test electrical components for continuity and proper voltage readings
    • Inspect electrical equipment and components to identify hazards and ensure proper operation
  • Leadership and Communication
    • Provide on-site direction and leadership to workers
    • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients and team members
  • Quality Control and Safety
    • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Identify and report any safety hazards or incidents

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of documented field experience or completion of a 4-year electrical apprenticeship program
  • Qualifications
    • Excellent understanding of the electrical industry and construction processes
    • Experience in finding and repairing faults in electrical systems
    • Ability to meet all physical requirements of the job
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Licensed Journeyman Electrician
    • Multi-family project experience
    • OSHA 30 hour Training
