POSITION SUMMARY

Compute, Classify and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. Perform duties for processing of accounts payable.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
  • Post the invoice voucher to the appropriate GL account, sub-account, Project # and to the appropriate period.
  • Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
  • Distributes signed checks as required.
  • Answers all vendor inquiries.
  • Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
  • Monitor status of recurring expenses to ensure that payments are up to date.
  • Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
  • Performs filing and copying.
  • Company Credit Card Expense Report Processing and Reconciliation.
  • Weekly reporting sent to managers.
  • Maintain prepaid expense schedules and prepare monthly journal entry.
  • Documentation of processes.
  • Process AR payments.
  • Assists Controller on various projects.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education : Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Experience : 2+ years related experience
