Shift Details:

  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.

Job Purpose:

The Material Handler/Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and production areas. This position is responsible for the efficient and safe movement, storage, and handling of materials using forklifts and other equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting overall operational efficiency.


Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers.
  • Transport materials to designated locations within the warehouse or production area.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management by documenting material movements.
  • Inspect forklifts and other equipment before use to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in material handling and forklift operation is required.
  • Valid forklift certification is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
