Job DescriptionJob Description

Busy Orthodontics practice is looking for a motivated, outgoing, and friendly Front Desk/Scheduling Coordinator to join our team Must be able to work in a fast-paced office and always maintain a great attitude and superior customer service. This is a full-time position - Monday through Wednesday 7:30 am to 5:15 pm, Thursday 7:30 am to 4:15 pm, and an occasional Friday. Relevant experience required.

  • Answering phones with a smile. You are the voice of the practice and an extension of the atmosphere of our office.
  • Checking patients in and scheduling their next appointment
  • Payment collections
  • Insurance Verification
  • Accurately entering patient information in to our practice management system
  • Duties will be increased with more experience
  • Must work weekly and able to cover on calls as needed.
  • Must be reliable, consistent, self- motivated, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Paying attention to detail is a must.

Requirements

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: No experience is required but the ideal candidate will have some relevant experience, including but not limited to the following:

  • Superior customer service skills and a demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care
  • Ability to operate multiple computer programs effectively and efficiently
  • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner
  • Dynamic interpersonal skills and the desire and ability to learn new skills and work well with a team
  • Minimum of 1 yr experience medical front desk (dental experience preferred)
  • Minimum of 1 yr experience verifying medical/dental insurances
