designers, and contractors, and providing superior service and guidance in developing specifications for wood

products.

reSAWN Timber is looking to add an experienced Production Coordinator to our Sales team. Reporting to the

Production Coordination Manager, the Production Coordinator is a mid-level position whose main goal is to master all

aspects of production management through reSAWN TIMBER co.’s processes and systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and track incoming projects from start to finish

  • Main point-of-contact throughout the duration of a project

  • Provide sales support as needed on pricing, lead time and product availability

  • Coordinate with Production department to ensure timely delivery & return of approved samples

  • Coordinate with Samples department to ensure timely delivery & return of approved samples

  • Coordinate between Specification Consultants and reSAWN internal staff regarding orders

  • Work with Freight Logistics Coordinator to estimate and schedule project’s freight needs

  • Ensure paper and electronic files are accurate and up to date for all orders

  • Invoicing and recording payments in Quickbooks

  • Coordinate with internal and external parties for the flawless execution of projects

  • Report and escalate to upper management as and when needed

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and/or 3-5 years comparable experience

  • Experience with Excel/Numbers and Word/Pages and web-based applications

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Outstanding organizational skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Excellent phone mannerisms and grammar

  • Strong communication skills

  • Knowledge of wood and/or manufacturing a plus

  • High level of aptitude for math

  • Grace under pressure

  • Positive attitude

  • Enjoys problem-solving

  • Consistent desire to learn the company’s products and procedures

  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes

You should be proficient in:

  • Customer Service
  • Basic Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Excel

Salary info:

$21.63 - $24.04 / hr
