Job DescriptionJob Description
  • This role sits within the OCM/Learning and Development group at Amtrak
  • This group has been running into some issues with the SAFe transformation. She needs a SAFe/Prosci advocate for her group. This position will sit in her group and will serve as a liaison between her group and the Agile transformation team which this person would need to partner with.
  • This person needs to be diplomatic in their approach.
  • She needs someone with strong SAFe Experience with PI Planning, execution, roadmap, coaching to go along with Prosci. Basically she needs someone that really knows SAFe but can also marry it with Prosci CM.
  • SAFe certification(s) are required as is a Prosci certification. A Kotter change management certificate can be substituted for the Prosci certification.
  • Anytime the Agile Release Train gets together this person would need to be there in person so this role will require fairly consistent travel throughout the NE. This is the team that is delivering the value. Brainstorming and collaborating. Not just for PI planning; Whenever they get together.
  • The ART meetings would be within the NE (DC, Philly, Wilmington) but the majority of the time they would be in DC.
  • The day-to-day of this role would be able to sit fully remote.
  • Agility health assessments
  • Communications/cadence/get engaged in the community of practice.
  • Raising awareness for the transformation
  • Doing things the right way where change is done. Not just SAFe.
