FORCE MANAGEMENT ANALYST

Hyperion Solutions Group has an immediate requirement for a Force Management Analyst supporting the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, Intelligence, Department of the Army. Responsibilities:

 

  • Provide skilled force management support and functional expertise in direct and/or general support across the following areas: force management requirements definition, force accounting; manpower resourcing;  force structure design and design processes; Army Intelligence manpower skill sets;  manpower resource cross-leveling techniques;  and Army Force Management Processes, including, support to FDUs, FORMALs, and TAAs.
  • Produce Army Intelligence force management products and reports required in the fulfillment of force management-related requirements. This includes a validated total MI Force database; workforce input to the annual Congressional Justification Book (CJB); development of workforce resource displays for the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Tab “O;” and reports or briefings in response to recurring ad hoc queries regarding the state of the Army’s MI forces.
  • Functional knowledge of the purpose, intent, design, and structure of Amry corporate manpower and personnel databases.
  • Fully satisfy ad hoc queries concerning the state of the MI force. Perform reviews of custom and one-of-a-kind data requests with the ability to design and implement automated processes that can be applied to future requests of a similar nature.
  • Develop methodologies for determining full-rates – that is, processes that will permit, within the limits of the underlying Army databases, comparisons of manpower authorization and personnel databases.
  • Provide analysis with an ability to synthesize vase amounts of data into concise, meaningful, and insightful reports and products.
  • Represent the government in a specified, limited fashion at meetings, conferences, Council of Colonels, and other official events as support to the Army Force Management process might require.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree or DoD / Army experience.
  • Ability to synthesize vast amounts of data into concise, meaningful, and insightful reports and products using Microsoft PC-based applications
  • Minimum Experience: Three (3) Years in DoD or U.S. Army experience.
  • Personal and practical experience across the Army Force Management Processes, including FDUs, FORMALs, and TAAs.
  • Resource – specifically manpower – cross-leveling techniques.

 

Desired Requirements:

 

  • Army functional expertise in the following areas: Army Force Management Processes - from requirements definition, through force accounting, to manpower resourcing.
  • Functional understanding of the Army's force programming and budgeting and manpower allocation mechanism.
  • Personal and practical experience across the Army Force Management Processes, including FDUs, FORMALs, and TAAs.
  • Staff or operational experience in an intelligence organization.
  • Prior experience in Functional Area 50
  • Detailed knowledge of the purpose, intent, design, and structure of Army corporate manpower and personnel databases.
  • Experience in the identification and resolution of force readiness issues.

 

Security Clearance:

 

  • Must have active TS/SCI clearance on Day 1 of employment.
