Primrose School of Tewksbury is hiring a Lead Receptionist who would be responsible for the following responsibilities. Responsible for welcoming visitors (in-person and over the phone), and responding to inquiries. The individual will give proper front desk coverage. The Lead Receptionist will be responsible for tracking and scheduling tours. The individual will be responsible for maintaining child files and inventory of office supplies.

Responsibilities
  • Serve families by welcoming and directing them to their child's classroom or waiting area.
  • Answer, screen, and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Receive and sort daily mail/deliveries.
  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access to the building.
  • Perform clerical receptionist duties including filing, photocopying, and postage.
  • Respond promptly to emails from potential and existing families.
  • Assist with special events and projects
  • Answer all calls within 3 rings.
  • Manage family communication platform with immunization records, forms, documents, and photos.
  • Create eye-catching video content and PowerPoint presentations.

Skill and Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Able to lift 35 lbs or more
  • Able to successfully pass a state-required background check
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Task-oriented
  • Experience with Canva Pro is a plus
Physical Demands
  • Able to lift 35 lbs frequently
  • Reaching above the shoulder and lifting 5 - 35 lbs, pushing and pulling
  • Walking, sitting, squatting, bending and computer input
