Objective

Our P&C team is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual to join our team to support business development for our Commercial Lines department.

Since 80% of our clients are through referrals, only minimal cold calling is required for this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Presenting our services and solutions to prospective clients.
  • Bringing new business prospects to closure.
  • Developing accounts and cross selling available products and services.
  • Negotiate with carriers and evaluate carrier quotes to secure the nest quotes possible for clients.
  • Identify carrier risk appetites, carrier information, target classes, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Maintain proper documentation for existing and prospective clients.
  • Attend training sessions, courses to maintain up-to-date skills.

Qualifications:

  • Active license in Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Bilingual in Chinese and English
  • Minimum 6 ~ 10 years of Commercial Lines Insurance experience
  • Experience in selling to a specific industry and surplus line insurance policies is a plus.
  • Good listening skills and the ability to determine clients' needs efficiently.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills
  • Excellent time management skills and a proven ability to effectively prioritize workflow.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and a positive learning attitude with a growth mindset.
