We are looking for an experienced construction superintendent who can lead our labor crews and subcontractors. You'll help our construction company plan and manage multi-million dollar custom homes from start to finish. Additional responsibilities include daily scheduling, homeowner communication, and quality control. Our ideal candidate has at least 5 years of custom home building experience and college degree/military experience. Compensation:$100,000+
Responsibilities:- Certify that each building project delivers a high-quality end product, oversee construction staff, and perform on-site assessments daily
- Maintain a daily record of project progress and home repair updates for the project manager and the homeowner
- Analyze subcontractor productivity toward timelines and performance goals to ensure that the project is on schedule to be finished on budget and to the highest possible quality
- Reduce accidents and delays on construction sites by ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations and reporting any problems to the project manager as soon as they arise
- Has basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
- You will need a high school diploma for this position, and a bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Finished training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
- 5 years of prior experience as a general contractor is required for this position; additional management experience preferred
- Must have general contractor license
