Pinellas Anxiety Specialists, a growing group private practice in Palm Harbor, is looking for a full-time Psychologist, Counselor, LMFT, or Social Worker to join our team. Requirements include being fully licensed in the State of Florida (unfortunately we are not set up to provide supervision for RMHCIs). You are able to set your work hours and ideal weekly patient caseload. However, our preference would be for a clinician who wants to see at least 20 patients per week.
We are an insurance-based practice, so you must be willing to work with insurance clients. The good news is we have admin staff that tackle nearly all insurance problems that arise, so you don't need to worry about the hassle of actually interacting with the insurance companies. I know you would rather spend your time doing anything other than sit on hold waiting for someone to answer.
A primary goal at our practice is for you to be able to focus on what you WANT to do, treat patients. Of course, we expect timely, accurate, and complete progress notes, intake reports, and treatment plans as ethically required. But truly I want to handle the admin tasks so you can focus on patients.
We are currently giving preference to therapists with niche(s) in couples, trauma, and EMDR, though we would welcome therapists of other niches as well. Compensation is a percentage based on income received and paid out twice monthly. Pinellas Anxiety Specialists provides a steady stream of referrals with no requirement for marketing assistance from team members. The candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and flexible.
I am very receptive to feedback from my clinicians to help make their work experience as pleasant as possible. Our goal is excellent patient care with as little hassle as possible.
We provide:
- Marketing and referrals
- Competitive compensation split
- An administrative assistant who answers calls, schedules intake appointments, verifies insurance benefits, follows up with patients when needed, etc. so you can focus on patient care
- Comfortable office space
- Sign-on bonus for select certifications (EMDR or Gottman)
$75,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Individual therapy with a population of your ideal clients
- Maintain paperwork to ethical standards
- Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 20 clients per week
Requirements are:
- Current State of Florida license as a PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, LMHC
- Willing to work 20 hours per week or more
- Paneled with insurance a plus
- Prior private practice experience is a plus
Pinellas Anxiety Specialists, a growing private practice in Palm Harbor, FL. We currently have two clinicians as well as support staff who handle initial consultations and administrative tasks.
We offer both in-office counseling as well as virtual counseling via HIPAA-compliant means. Our culture is focused on allowing you independence and flexibility to do good work without too many administrative hassles.
