Kaiva Services is seeking Construction Project Manager in Utah (focus in St. George area)

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager with extensive experience in managing government contracts and large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing project schedules, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and under budget. A PMP certification is preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met.
  • Coordinate and communicate with government agencies, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and budget, to monitor and track project performance.
  • Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or concerns. Require up to 40% travel.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
  • Manage and maintain project records, including blueprints, drawings, and other relevant documents.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Utilize different programs to collaborate with project team members and manage project documents.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks, implementing effective solutions to resolve project issues.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.

Required Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a strong emphasis on government contracts.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred.
  • Ability to travel (up to 40% required).
  • Proven ability to manage complex construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Strong understanding of government regulations and compliance requirements in the construction industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
