Your role as a Spectral Integration Engineer - Senior Level

Mission Intelligence Group is excited to offer a challenging opportunity for a Senior Level Spectral Integration Engineer. In this role, you will be instrumental in integrating and deploying spectral exploitation tools that are essential for Image Scientists to process and analyze a variety of data types. You will collaborate with a diverse team of experts to ensure seamless integration within the NSG TCPED Enterprise, contributing to end-to-end mission solutions. Your expertise will be crucial in providing strategic advice to the Government and translating mission requirements into innovative technical solutions.

Would you be a great Spectral Integration Engineer - Senior Level?

To excel in the role of Senior Level Spectral Integration Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, candidates must possess a strong background in system integration and deployment, with a focus on spectral exploitation tools. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, image scientists, and developers, to ensure seamless interoperability of applications and systems. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to provide expert advice to the Government on technical matters are essential for success in this role.

Additionally, candidates should have a solid understanding of strategic technical planning, project management, and risk management. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are key to effectively translating mission requirements into actionable solutions. A proactive and innovative mindset, coupled with a commitment to excellence and integrity, will contribute to success in this challenging and dynamic position.

Skills and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
  • Senior-level (12+ years) experience working in government or industry in relevant work areas including: DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or systems engineering of large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience integrating sensor programs into large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • A minimum of 5 years NGA program/project work experience
  • Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools
  • Experience integrating solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle

Desired:

  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program.
  • INCOSE Expert Systems engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
  • Experience integrating spectral exploitation tools within SAGE/CAP architecture
  • Experience integrating solutions using advanced tradecraft tools used by NGA/ATS, such as Data Transformation Services and Full Spectrum Tool Kit
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
  • Experience integrating solutions using Automation, Augmentation and Artificial Intelligence technologies.
