Day to day as a Spectral Integration Engineer - Expert Level

Join Mission Intelligence Group in Springfield, VA as an Expert-level Spectral Integration Engineer where you will be instrumental in integrating and deploying cutting-edge spectral exploitation tools. Would you be a great Spectral Integration Engineer - Expert Level?

To excel as an Expert-level Spectral Integration Engineer at Mission Intelligence Group, candidates must possess a strong background in integration and deployment within the spectral exploitation field. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities, customer-centricity, and a commitment to excellence in every aspect of their work. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential to effectively work with a diverse team of systems engineers, image scientists, and developers to ensure seamless integration of applications and systems. A forward-thinking mindset and the ability to think strategically will be crucial in providing expert advice to the Government and translating mission requirements into innovative solutions. Additionally, candidates should have a proven track record in systems integration, project management, and risk management to drive the successful implementation of an integrated PED environment for spectral exploitation.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program, or related equivalent additional experience of 4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience integrating sensor programs into large complex System of Systems or Service Oriented Architecture environments residing in cloud, on premise, or hybrid infrastructures.
  • A minimum of 5 years NGA program/project work experience
  • Experience integrating spectral data into spectral exploitation tools
  • Experience integrating solutions using Cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with and strong understanding of systems engineering lifecycle
  • 18+ years related experience

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Master's degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, Imagery Analysis, or related STEM degree program.
  • INCOSE Expert Systems engineering Professional (ESEP) certification.
  • Experience integrating spectral exploitation tools within SAGE/CAP architecture
  • Experience integrating solutions using advanced tradecraft tools used by NGA/ATS, such as Data Transformation Services and Full Spectrum Tool Kit
  • Working knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering, processes, tools, and languages.
  • Demonstrated expertise in photogrammetry, remote sensing, image science, information sciences, geographic information systems, geomatics, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.
  • Previous IC or DoD program/project work experience.
