Kindergarten 2024-2025 School Year

The Goddard School in Beavercreek is seeking a full-time Lead Kindergarten Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. Responsible for a wide range of activities in the classroom, including lesson planning, curriculum development, and classroom management. Candidates must be passionate about educating young children, creative, patient, energetic, and possess strong oral /written communication skills.

Must be a graduate of a 4-year degree program in Education (PreK-3) and have prior experience in a Kindergarten setting. Prior technology experience a real plus (SmartBoard, iPads, computers, etc.). Must be familiar with state of Ohio curricular standards.

Our lead teachers are responsible for coordinating the daily operations of assigned classes. Teachers will plan, present, and evaluate educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment. Qualifications

  • Ability to calmly address stressful situations professionally while multi-tasking to ensure smooth school operations
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
