Summary

Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the organization. Reporting to the Accounting Lead, the Accounting Specialist provides accounting support including inventory accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and some general accounting functions.?

Duties & Responsibilities

Essential Functions

  • Use CRM and ERP to generate customer billings for equipment and services.?
  • Generate credit memos for refunds and returned equipment.??
  • Use ERP system to pay invoices by verifying transaction information and obtaining authorization of payment.?
  • Utilizes paperless software to store and route invoices according to approval workflow.?
  • Evaluation and process improvement recommendations for CRM/accounting workflows.?
  • Complete quarterly cycle counts of on-hand inventory.?
  • Complete various monthly reconciliations.?
  • Assist with monthly sales tax reconciliations and compliance.?
  • Ensure integrations between CRM and ERP are functioning correctly.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Departmental project work, as needed
  • Create and reconcile aging equipment report
  • Complete other assigned duties as requested?

Requirements

  • This role is eligible for a hybrid schedule. Up to one day per week may be worked remotely in accordance with the telecommuting policy.

Education & Experience

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or a related field
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an accounting and/or administrative role.
  • Strong Communication Skills Required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM
