We have an immediate need for a contract Sr. Workday Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence Analyst to join a leading financial automation software organization. The Sr. Workday Payroll, Time Tracking and Absence Analyst is responsible for partnering with internal teams to gather business requirements, recommend solutions based on best practices, configure the system for end-to-end testing, and provide production support.
Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid).
This job expects to pay about $87 - 88 per hour plus benefits.
What You Will Do:
- Configure and maintain Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence modules to meet organizational needs.
- Collaborate with People Ops, Payroll, and Benefits teams to gather requirements and implement solutions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Develop and execute test plans to validate system configurations and updates.
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence issues.
- Conduct training sessions and create documentation for end-users and administrators.
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience.
- Stay updated with Workday releases and enhancements, ensuring the organization leverages new features effectively.
What Gets You The Job:
- Minimum of 5 years of Workday Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence configuration experience.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations in the United States.
- Proven ability to manage complex business issues and implement scalable solutions with consideration of downstream impact.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and oral communication skills to interact with various stakeholders and provide training.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
