Job Description: Unreal Technical Artist - Master of Digital Realms

Seeking a talented Unreal Technical Artist to join our visionary team. As an Unreal Technical Artist, you will blend artistry and technology, using Unreal Engine to craft captivating worlds. Collaborating with artists, designers, and developers, you will optimize visuals, implement effects, and ensure seamless immersion.

Responsibilities:

  • Create visually stunning and optimized experiences in collaboration with the art and development teams.
  • Utilize Unreal Engine for lighting, shading, and material creation.
  • Implement captivating visual effects using Unreal's particle systems and shaders.
  • Optimize performance by addressing rendering bottlenecks and optimizing assets.
  • Collaborate with artists and designers to transform creative visions into realities.
  • Stay updated on industry techniques to elevate visual quality.
  • Develop tools and streamline the art production pipeline.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to art and graphics in Unreal Engine.
  • Push the boundaries of interactive storytelling and gameplay.


Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine, focusing on lighting, shading, and materials.
  • Understanding of real-time rendering techniques and performance optimization.
  • Experience with art-related software (Maya, Substance Painter, Photoshop).
  • Portfolio showcasing effects created with Unreal's particle systems and shader graph.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Passion for immersive gaming experiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or related field.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Blueprints scripting and automation workflows.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, C#).
  • Familiarity with VR/AR development.
  • Understanding of PBR workflows and material authoring.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Perforce).
