Ed Martin Automotive Group is looking to add Parts Department Managers to our growing team Ideal candidates will have prior experience leading Parts teams in a retail setting; dealership experience is not required but is highly beneficial. This role is responsible for overall department performance and the coaching and development of other Parts Department associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Parts Department operations
  • Establish out of stock strategy - we want to eliminate customer disappointment whenever possible and ensuring we have the appropriate SKUs in stock is critical to being successful with this
  • Ensure Parts Department personnel are adequately trained and prepared to handle customer concerns, issues and other processes
  • Ensure department profitability - not missing out on sales due to inventory issues is key
  • Provide support & assistance to other departments who may need to interact with Parts (Sales, Service, etc.)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Effective communication skills
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year managing Parts Department and personnel
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly attitude
