Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Construction Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of relevant experience managing projects related to commercial properties, warehouses, offices, and more. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a combination of new construction and renovation projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.


Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage all aspects of construction projects, including new builds and renovations.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
  1. Team Leadership:
  • Lead and supervise project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and onsite personnel.
  • Ensure all team members understand their roles and responsibilities and are aligned with project goals.
  • Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  1. Client Interaction:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide project updates and address any concerns or requests.
  • Manage client expectations and ensure all project deliverables meet or exceed client requirements.
  1. Budget and Cost Control:
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring all costs are tracked and controlled.
  • Review and approve invoices, change orders, and other financial documents.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement value engineering strategies.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all construction work meets or exceeds industry standards and company quality requirements.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality and compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Prepare regular progress reports for clients, senior management, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Construction Manager, with a focus on commercial properties, warehouses, offices, and similar projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple construction projects simultaneously.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
