Day to day as a Toddler Lead Teacher

As a Full Time Toddler Lead Teacher at YMCA of Greater Toledo, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our toddler program. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing engaging activities, conducting assessments, overseeing snack and meal services, and maintaining open lines of communication with children, parents, YMCA/JCC staff, and center guests. Your ability to lead with enthusiasm, creativity, and a deep sense of care and responsibility will ensure that our toddlers receive the highest quality of care and education in a fun and energetic environment.

Requirements for this Toddler Lead Teacher job

To excel as a Full Time Toddler Lead Teacher at YMCA of Greater Toledo, you must possess a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or be enrolled in a CDA certification program. Meeting ODJFS licensing qualifications, including training and background checks, is a must. Additionally, strong communication skills, creativity, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children are essential for success in this role. The ability to collaborate effectively with parents, colleagues, and center guests, as well as demonstrate a high level of energy and flexibility in a fast-paced environment, will help you thrive in this dynamic and rewarding position.
