Position Overview: As an Early Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our educational programs run smoothly by providing coverage during staff breaks and planning time. Then stepping into the classroom for the afternoon portion of our program. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about early childhood education and enjoys working with young children in a supportive role. Hours would be 11:00 am- 5:30 pm Monday through Friday with opportunities to substitute in classroooms for staff vacations.
Duties
Supervise and engage with children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Assist in implementing daily activities and learning programs under the guidance of lead educators.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Support classroom management and address any immediate needs or concerns.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in early childhood education or a related field is a plus.
Previous experience working with young children is preferred, but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with work hours.
A genuine passion for early childhood education and child development.
