Company Description and Job Summary

Accumet Engineering Inc, is an industry-leading advanced processing manufacturer for new and legacy materials fabrication, precision laser services, and critical component assembly. We are looking for an experienced Quality Supervisor will be working closely with the QA manager to help ensure Quality Compliance throughout the facility. The candidate should be able to report findings using our different reporting methods starting with the Partial FAI’s IAW AS9102 as well as a customer-imposed reporting system through their own portals.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives, planning & coordination as part of the effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
  • Assist with Facility Walk Throughs to ensure all Functional areas are adhering to ISO9001 & AS9100, HLQR.
  • Assist with monitoring, measurements, and testing records, reports, and customer requested data.
  • Work with the upper management to establish Quality Goals.
  • Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and New Reporting Requests while communicating required adjustments to Functional Managers prior to submitting to QA Manager final approval.
  • Work with facility POC’s to set up, maintain and operate a wide variety of mechanical, optical, and electrical inspection equipment.
  • Monitor and ensure the Training Program and Training Requirements are met and in compliance with the HLQR.
  • Work with the Quality Manager to monitor scheduled preventative maintenance and calibration due date requirements of all equipment onsite.
  • Assist engineers and vendor/customer representatives by evaluating parts and assemblies and identifying causes of non-conformances.
  • Assist in the duties of the primary Delegated Quality Representative (DQR) To comply with Customer reporting requirements and requests.
  • Learn and be able to stand in for final inspection upon request based on delivery commitments.
  • Be flexible and ready to take on other Roles, Action Items, or Quality Related Duties assigned by the Quality Manager.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong Background with ISO/AS9100
  • Strong Math Skills
  • Willing to learn new reporting requirements and submission Portals.
  • Flexible
  • Has a firm understanding of all aspects of a QMS.
  • Has Auditing experience.
  • Strong Attention to detail
  • RMA experience a Plus
  • Independent Contributor a Plus

Physical Demands

The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk; lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision ability is required which includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
