Your day as a Employee & Student Training/Development Specialist

As a new Employee & Student Training/Development Specialist at Katy Trail Community Health, you can expect to facilitate training sessions for employees and students, create engaging learning materials, assess training needs, and collaborate with teams to ensure effective development programs. Your day-to-day will involve conducting training sessions, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to enhance learning experiences. The position requires you to work from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday, ensuring a consistent schedule for your training initiatives.

What we're looking for in a Employee & Student Training/Development Specialist

To excel in the Employee & Student Training/Development Specialist role at Katy Trail Community Health, you'll need a Bachelor's Degree in education, HR, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience as a workforce development instructor or a background in healthcare. Proficiency in adult-centered teaching practices, exceptional verbal communication skills, and the ability to engage audiences effectively are essential. You should also demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, possess excellent planning and time management skills, and exhibit refined interpersonal techniques.

Strong public speaking skills and the willingness to travel as required will further contribute to your success in this position.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
