As a Security Consultant, you will work with risk3sixty’s Offensive Security Team to scope, prepare, and deliver technology-oriented assessments and red team engagements that will improve our client’s overall security posture.

This position will report to the Director of Offensive Security Practice.

Requirements:

Core Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Accountable for executing work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Assist in executing security assessments and audits to include penetration testing, adversarial emulation exercises (red team), social engineering exercises and other offensive security related exercises.
  • Contribute detail-orientated documentation on findings, observations, remediation steps, and/or mitigation recommendations to clients.
  • Expected to engage and contribute to research and development projects to identify vulnerabilities and entry points that attackers may use to exploit applications, networks, and systems.
  • Continuously learn and keep pace with quickly moving and dynamic adversaries.
  • Contribute to internal research projects.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, or equivalent years of professional experience to meet job requirements and expectations or equivalent military experience required
  • Basic knowledge in any of the following programming/scripting languages: Python, PowerShell, C, Java, Bash
  • Strong comfort with usage of Windows and/or Linux
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of motivation and teamwork
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong attentional to detail and superior analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Experienced and comfortable interacting and communicating with teammates and customers

Certifications

  • Possession of or in the process of obtaining two or more security-related certifications:
  • Junior Penetration Tester (eJPT)
  • Practical Network Penetration Tester (PNPT)
  • Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
  • Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE)
  • eLearnSecurity Certified Penetration Tester eXtreme (eCPTXv2)
  • eLearnSecurity Web Application Penetration Tester eXtreme (eWPTXv2)
