Phase Technologies is looking for a Quality Manager to join our enterprising team. The Quality Manager will collaborate with all Operations and Product Developments functions. This role reports to and collaborates with the Director of Quality to develop and execute quality strategies and is charged with facilitating these efforts. Through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, the Quality Manager provides leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the Company has the proper quality controls and procedures in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

Job Duties:


  • Oversee all aspects of product quality to ensure our products meet internal quality standards and the needs of our customers.
  • Develop process controls to ensure defects are identified at the source.
  • Monitor quality metrics and evaluate findings to prioritize process and/or product improvements.
  • Monitor internal processes for opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide feedback to internal departments regarding product quality and manufacturability.
  • Manage a team of quality engineers, technicians, and auditors to effectively implement and maintain quality activities.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive action activities with the quality team and other organizational departments as needed.
  • Manage projects or coordinate project management activities with the quality team to ensure completion within established timelines.
  • Oversee the identification, processing, and disposition of nonconforming materials.
  • Monitor supplier performance related to quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Assist other organizational departments in ensuring that critical functions are executed, monitored, and sustained.
  • Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met.
  • Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives as requested.

  • Strong Business Acumen and Financial Analysis skills with a strong ability to achieve results
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft office suite

 

Education and Work Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college, university, or technical school; or a minimum of four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Industry experience and knowledge of Variable Frequency Drive (VFD), preferred
  • Knowledge of relevant industries
  • Proven track record of success
