Our company is seeking an experienced Banquet Sous Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and large scale banquets, as well as full service hotel or larger convention style hotel experience.


Responsibilities:

- Plan and execute menus for large scale banquets and fine dining events

- Manage and train kitchen staff to ensure high quality food and service

- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Collaborate with event planners and other departments to ensure seamless execution of events

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into menus


Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Banquet Chef

- Strong leadership and communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

- Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and techniques

- Familiarity with health and safety regulations

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

- Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
