Your role as a Lead Plant Maintence

As a new Lead Plant Maintenance team member at Mohave Cannabis Co., your day-to-day expectations will be both dynamic and rewarding. You'll begin each day by conducting thorough inspections of our cannabis cultivation facilities to identify any maintenance needs. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you'll prioritize tasks, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement preventative maintenance strategies to ensure seamless operations.

  • Responsible for leading the plant maintenance team in the performance of cultivation tasks such as watering, transplanting, organizing, and cleaning cultivation spaces.
  • Lead and pace the team to ensure adherence to the grow plan and schedule.
  • Maintains plant canopy, skirting, and de-leafing.
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOP) for all operations, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory compliance.
  • Performs trellis work.
  • Performs final pruning.
  • Oversees plant inspections.
  • Identifies and records waste.
  • Reports any known issues or concerns.

What you need to be successful

To thrive as a Lead Plant Maintenance professional at Mohave Cannabis Co., you'll need a diverse skill set that aligns with our commitment to excellence in the cannabis industry.

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a Facility Agent Card through the State.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cannabis strains; Sativa, Indica, and Hybrids.
  • Knowledge of plant diseases, insects, and fungi, as well as plant treatment processes.
  • Knowledge of plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, airflow, etc.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in plant cultivation, specifically in the cannabis industry preferred.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
