About Us: The Springs at Happy Valley is a premier Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community in Happy Valley, Oregon. Our 210-residence community offers a warm and vibrant environment where seniors can enjoy their best years. We are seeking a dedicated Painter/Maintenance Assistant to help us maintain our beautiful community.   Key Responsibilities:
  • Apartment Repairs: drywall, texturing, and painting after move-outs.
  • Exterior Maintenance: facility exterior, including building, lawn, plant and/or flower beds, walkways, driveways, and parking lot.
  • Interior Maintenance: resident apartments, common areas, offices, storage rooms, and kitchen.
  • Resident Assistance: Aid with cable TV setup and basic troubleshooting.
  • Waste Management: Assist in garbage and recycling collection.
  • Safety & Communication: Ensure safe practices and keep the team including the Plant Operations Director and Maintenance Lead informed of facility status. Maintains confidentiality and privacy of our residents and staff at all times.
Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience in painting or maintenance preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and walk throughout the campus for extended periods.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
