HOW YOU WOULD BE SPENDING YOUR TIME AS A FIELD SAFETY MANAGER

The Field Safety Manager is a champion of Willmeng's safety culture, responsible for displaying a positive safety attitude by ensuring that others understand the humanitarian responsibility of providing safe workspaces. Ensures compliance with all safety regulations including Willmeng safety policies and practices, OHSA, federal, state, and local laws.

  • You'll build relationships - You'll partner with our Safety Team and Operations Teams to develop and implement solutions to safety related issues on project sites.
  • You'll make an impact – You'll educate operations teams on how to mitigate incidents from industry wide data reports and inspect/monitor daily operations of employees following safety policies and laws.
  • You'll have ownership of your work – You'll conduct routine safety audits when appropriate for weekly/monthly reviews.
  • You'll have variety – You will visit project sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance with established safety policies.

WHAT A FIELD SAFETY MANAGER NEEDS TO JOIN THE TEAM

  • You are capable assisting Superintendents with developing site safety plans and coordination.
  • You enjoy developing onsite job hazard analysis.
  • You are energized by preparing and researching regulatory requirements, industry standards, best practices, and health and safety practices.
  • You have good judgment in safeguarding confidential and sensitive personnel information.
  • You possess knowledge of appropriate emergency protocols and ability to remain calm in the event of an emergency.
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and love working in a collaborative environment.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • OSHA 30.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in; Microsoft Office, Outlook and Construction Software (Procore).
  • You have commercial construction experience.
  • We require background checks.
