We are currently seeking a dedicated Safety Professional to join our team and help maintain our reputation for excellence.

Position Overview: The Safety Professional will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all Classic Roofing employees. This role involves conducting regular safety audits, training staff on safety protocols, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Lead safety training sessions for new hires and ongoing employee education.
  • Investigate and document any incidents or accidents, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of safety training, inspections, and incidents.
  • Collaborate with management to continuously improve safety standards and practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all safety-related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Must have OSHA 30 Hour Course completion at the minimum
  • Prefer OSHA 500 Course completion
  • Bilingual is a definite plus
  • Previous experience around commercial roofing is desirable
  • Night Shift work required
  • Capable to pass background check requirements
  • Technical safety knowledge
  • Capability to conduct field observations, interactions, and interventions
  • Ability to review and suggest improvements to task planning in the field
  • Experience in safety training
  • Experience in EHS management skills
  • Knowledge of hazard communication fundamentals
  • Familiarity with local EHS regulations and standards (Semiconductor)
  • Ability to track and trend results and indicators
  • Experience in trade-specific hazard recognition and mitigation
  • Experience in incident response and investigation
  • Experience in case injury/illness management
  • Experience in managing safe construction chemical use, handling, storage, and disposal
  • Must be able to communicate with Management Team and Field Craftsmen comfortably
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to Pass a Drug/Alcohol screening test
