Job Summary:

The Receptionist will interact with the Club’s membership by addressing inquiries; while also providing friendly, accurate and helpful responses to all inquiries, via phone, email or in person. As a Member Service Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, making a significant impact on our Members and their Guest satisfaction and reservation needs.


Overview of the Desired Skills:

We're searching for a dynamic Member Service Specialist who is a customer service-oriented individual.

The ideal candidate should be able to spearhead our Club membership reservations and inquiry objectives while championing our club's culture and values. Picture a top-tier professional with the skills to deliver exceptional customer service and the charisma to be a one call resolution for our membership. As the first line of contact to represent Saint Louis Club, this individual will have the opportunity to increase member engagement while exceeding the expectations of our club's members and their guests. Key Responsibilities

  • Answer all incoming calls.
  • Maintain the Saint Louis Club Reservation system, updating any changes for ala carte, fine dining and/or events using the standards set by Management.
  • Create Letter of Introduction for traveling members.
  • Inform Captains of any member requests or situations that may require their attention and/or action.
  • Answer questions regarding the club and policies (dress code, hours, etc.). Validate parking tickets if necessary.
  • Make all our members feel comfortable and let them know you’re there to take care of them personally and professionally.
  • Monitor the Reception Email for all Reservation requests, questions, or any other type of member requests.
  • Create Event Spreadsheets via Excel and maintain accuracy in the Event binders.
  • Stay connected with Maître d and Captains for any changes or additional reservations.
  • Maintain clean Member Service Specialist Desk and Front Area around the desk.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Must be able to communicate in and understand a variety of social situations and interact accordingly with our membership.
  • Must have a passion for great hospitality and have solid knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions.
  • Must be dedicated to working as a team in all aspects of our daily duties with a team player mentality.

Additional Skills

  • Regularly use hands to handle, grasp, feel, and reach frequently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and club management software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple tasks.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional Member and Guest Experience.
