Patient Access Representative Responsibilities to Include:

  • Receives all inbound calls from current and potential patients
  • Schedule and coordinate patient appointments, following company protocol, procedures, and provider scheduling templates
  • Schedule patient appointments with the proper provider in the appropriate location
  • Answers the phone while maintaining a polite, consistent phone manner using proper telephone etiquette
  • Updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior medical practice experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of computer applications. Prior experience with EMR preferred.
  • Ability to speak, read and write effectively.
  • Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
  • Ability to coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines, in a detail-oriented manner.
  • Flexible scheduling availability required
