Position Summary


We seek an experienced Project Management Consultant to lead the logistics, procurement, and overall project management for a $400M factory buildout in Monterrey, Mexico. This role demands a highly skilled professional with a robust PMO background and a proven track record in managing large-scale projects. You will coordinate with internal teams and manage the procurement, sourcing, and logistics activities essential to the success of this new facility.


Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and manage the PMO for the factory buildout, ensuring the project adheres to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Oversee logistics and procurement, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk management strategies.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to align project goals with broader business objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management, addressing project progress and potential challenges.
  • Ensure on-site presence in Monterrey for a minimum of 3 days per week, preferably 5 days per week.
  • Facilitate communication between team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned and executed efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, particularly in logistics, sourcing, and procurement.
  • Strong PMO skills with a successful track record in managing large-scale projects.
  • Experience in the CPG/FMCG industry is highly desirable.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work onsite in Monterrey, Mexico for 3-5 days per week.
