The HVAC Sales Manager's overall responsibility is assisting in the management of the complete service department under the direction of the SVP of Service.

Task & Responsibilities

-Build strong relationships with a variety of manufacturing territory managers and field supervisors regarding operational inefficiencies created by salespeople
-Locates and proposes potential leads by contacting potential customers, discovering and exploring opportunities
-Responsible for business development in all geographical areas served in SW Florida
-Oversee 8+ Comfort Specialists (salespeople)
-Involved/oversee price schedules of equipment
-Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and service programs
-Determine price schedules and discount rates
-Confer with potential customers regarding equipment needs and advise customers on types of equipment to purchase
-Identify prospects and strategic account
-Continue to seek and capitalize upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships
-Oversee the follow-up with every customer

Qualifications

Training in variety of knowledge, skills and abilities with sales techniques and follow-up ride along.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Sales and/or HVAC industry.
Knowledge of principals and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services.
Clean driving record.
Bilingual a plus but not required.
Communication Skills The ability to write clearly, succinctly, and understandably. The ability to effectively communicate, build a rapport and relate well to all kinds of people. Treats all people with respect, courtesy and consideration; respects differences in the attitudes and perspectives of others; listens, observes and strives to gain understanding of others. Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences
Time Management - Managing one's own time and the time of others.
Dependabilitythe individual is consistently at work and on time, follows instructions, responds to management direction and solicits feedback to improve performance.
