Our client's company, a leader in hydraulic and automation components and systems, is seeking a proactive and organized Inside / Counter Sales Representative to join their growing branch. This position is vital to the success of the branch, representing at least a quarter of the staff.

In this role, you will be the central point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and efficient processing of orders, quotes, and logistics. You will handle everything from sales to supply management, making sure that every aspect of the business process runs smoothly. Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Prepare and provide quotes to customers, including distributors, OEMs, and other domestic clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams (managers, sales reps, warehouse staff).
  • Utilize the ERP system to manage and track orders, pricing, special requests, and documentation.
  • Coordinate logistics to ensure prompt and accurate deliveries.
  • Support the overall sales process, contributing to team goals in a small-company environment.
  • Assist with special orders and resolve any customer issues with a focus on satisfaction.
  • Promote a collaborative and team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience or strong aptitude for customer interaction.
  • Demonstrated organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong reasoning ability and attention to detail.
  • Experience with the product line or marketplace is a plus.
  • Proficiency in basic MS Office applications.
  • Ability to read and differentiate alpha and alphanumeric listings.
  • Valid drivers license; ability to drive a manual transmission may be required.
  • Mechanical aptitude and a team-focused attitude.
  • Physically able to occasionally lift up to 70 lbs and climb ladders.
