Specialist - Transportation Billing
The Specialist – Transportation Billing is a pivotal entry-level role responsible for facilitating the seamless movement of freight for our esteemed customers. This position assumes critical responsibilities, including auditing invoices, accurately inputting invoices for timely payments, and collaborating with internal teams to promptly resolve any discrepancies that may arise. It serves as a vital pillar of support for our accounting functions while also offering assistance in various other areas as necessary. This role is essential in ensuring efficient operations and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
Responsibilities-
- Review, analyze, and audit invoices within the AR system, upload invoices for portal billed customers, sending EDI invoices, and assist with retrieving backup documentation for our customers,
- Work closely with other teams to resolve any invoicing or payment issues,
- Respond to requests from customers in a timely manner (invoicing and payment issues).
- Other duties as assigned by the AR Manager.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience-
- One year of experience in a billing role or logistics industry is preferred.
- Must possess a high level of intellectual curiosity and be solution focused.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Adept at Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong communication skills.
