We at The Structures Company have an opportunity for you as an Electrical Integration Engineer Electrical Wiring for hybrid in Tustin, CA
Responsibilities:
Maintain vehicle electrical configuration in the electrical library using Catia 3DX- Develop and Maintain Electrical Schematics and Wire Diagrams
- Wire size selection for current carrying capacity and voltage drop
- Component selection: connectors, terminal blocks, junction modules
- Develop process specifications and engineering standards
- Develop trade studies and design reviews to present to program leadership
Baseline requirements (all candidates):
- B.S. Aerospace/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3+ years of experience
- Understanding of electrical database/library management
- Understanding of electrical schematics and electrical load analysis
- Understanding of circuit protection devices
- Understanding of aircraft-type wiring and components such as connectors, backshells, conduits, relays, switches, terminal junctions, etc.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with Catia V5 and Catia 3DX
- Understanding of wire harness manufacturing process
- Design experience and shop floor experience
- Experience with Microsoft Visio
- Experience with flight test instrumentation sensors
