The Electrical Integration Design Engineer will be responsible for the development of brackets that support the Electrical Wiring Interconnect System (EWIS). This role involves close collaboration with both electrical and structural engineering teams to create innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Engineering Collaboration: Work alongside electrical and structural engineers to devise creative and effective solutions.
- Design Development: Utilize Catia 3DX for the creation and release of engineering definitions.
- Trade Studies: Conduct trade studies and design reviews to effectively communicate findings to program leadership.
- Material Selection: Ensure material compatibility through careful selection of components.
- Manufacturing Support: Provide engineering assistance to manufacturing processes.
- Non-Conformance Management: Address non-conformance issues and manage engineering drawing revisions.
Required:
- B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with sheet metal, machined parts, and composite materials.
- Proficiency in Catia V5 or Catia 3DX.
Preferred:
- Experience in developing bracketry specifically for electrical wiring.
