Location: Northwest U.S. (with expected travel to client sites); preferably located in the Boise, ID area

Job Summary: The Practice Operations Specialist is a dynamic and knowledgeable resource, deployable by the MedMan Corporate Team through the Chief Client Services Officer to provide on-site or remote practice management support to our clients. This role is pivotal in implementing and managing systems and processes, training teams, and effectively communicating with various professionals in medical group settings to manage change and improve systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deploy into client practices to address specific operational challenges or implement systems.
  • Develop tactics to aid in the execution of a client’s strategic plan.
  • Utilize MedMan resources and team members to achieve client objectives.
  • Maintain clear communication with the Chief Client Services Officer or their designee regarding scope of work and any necessary changes.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven ability in managing teams, operations, finance and accounting, and board governance within an independent medical group.
  • Expertise in system and process implementation, team training, and effective change management communication.
  • Familiarity with governance and meeting structures for problem-solving (e.g., EOS).

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in major EMRs (e.g., eCW, Athena).
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Proficiency in working with payroll systems.
  • Demonstrated success with a PDSA model or similar methodologies.

Short-term Goals (First 6 Months):

  • Regular deployment into client practices to make a tangible impact.

  • Independently navigate client engagements, understanding the specific challenges to be addressed and strategically applying MedMan’s resources and expertise.
  • Operate with a degree of autonomy, consulting with the Chief Client Services Officer or their designee when necessary to ensure alignment with broader objectives and client satisfaction.
