Job Summary


Position is weekdays, day shift, and full-time with benefits after a probationary period. The company hiring for this position is a world-wide leader in their field. They are headquartered in Clackamas (= more opportunities for advancement locally) and offer generous PTO, medical, dental, 401K.


This is a high-volume truck-loading position; so if you're an Ace on the forklift - then this could be a good fit for you A similar opportunity exists in SW Portland, so please let us know which location you prefer.



Responsibilities of Forklift Operator - Loading Trucks


  • Loading, unloading trucks in a high-volume shipping environment.
  • Palletizing by hand as needed.
  • Securing loads before transportation.
  • Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
  • Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
  • Identifying workplace safety hazards.
  • Adhering to safety management standards.
  • Adhering to production schedules.



Qualifications


  • 3+ years of operating sit-down forklift loading trucks in a high-volume shipping environment
  • Ability to handle physical workload (palletizing + repeatedly on/off forklift)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Inventory Management
  • Forklift Safety
  • Detail Oriented
