ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: RECONCRAFT is currently recruiting for skilled Machinists, Machine operators, and programmers for our vessel manufacturing division. Machine operators will be responsible for: CAM programming for vertical and horizontal machining centers, as well as a CNC router table; Machine operation of the above tools; and dimensional verification.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: The ideal candidate will have minimum 1-2 years’ experience taking a designed part and creating tool-paths and fixtures to properly machine and finish the part to given tolerances. Candidates will be expected to have experience operating basic hand and power tools, experience with manual machining on knee mills and lathes, in addition to CNC Machining centers. Basic interpretation of blueprints, drawings, CAD models, and written instructions are expected to be able to complete parts accurately and in a timely manner. CNC Router operation will require the operation of overhead cranes, forklifts, manlifts, and other equipment. Employees are expected to keep their work area professional, neat, and clean.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to perform duties such as lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces as needed.
• Prior experience in boat manufacturing or related field is a plus but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
This position requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, kneeling, crawling, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability, and visual acuity. Candidate must also be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to complete tasks.

Daytime shift
4-10's, Monday - Thursday
6:00am - 4:30 pm
Weekend shift
3-12's, Friday - Sunday (paid for 40 hours)
6am - 6pm
Driver license and resume needed at time of interview.
