The Shipping & Receiving Technician I performs all work in the warehouse pertaining to shipping & receiving and loading and unloading trucks to meet in accordance with operating/performance measures. They also perform additional duties assigned as required/tasked.
Receives goods as they arrive (pallets, packaging materials, etc.) Travel Pay Grade Code Job Class Participates in HSE activities; Additional duties assigned by Manager, as needed. Communicates with Lead, UM/PM, CRS/Admin carefully on truck loading to ensure accuracy; Interfaces with truck drivers; The Shipping & Receiving Technician I performs all work in the warehouse pertaining to shipping &
receiving and loading and unloading trucks to meet in accordance with operating/performance measures. They also perform additional duties assigned as required/tasked. Packages boxed orders; Operates the sweeper; Signs documents for shipping & receiving; Performs heat shrink application and applies pallet labels once approved by QC; Handles and moves finished goods and intermediates to warehousing/storage; Operates all processes in a safe manner and with HSE rules and regulations; Loads and Unloads finished goods to customers; Loads and Unloads trucks for interplant shipments; Ships and Receives FEDEX shipmen
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
One year of Industrial or Manufacturing experience.
