Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Archbold Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill employee prescriptions and physician orders for pharmacist review
  • Utilize the order imaging system appropriately and accurately input patient orders
  • Deliver medications to nursing units and exchange carts in a timely manner
  • Submit filing information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Receive, price, and stock drug orders and store appropriately
  • Verify invoice receipts for accuracy
  • Routinely check for drug expirations of regular pharmacy stock, floor stock, and cabinets
  • Check and record quality assurance information (i.e. refrigerator temperatures, unit check visits, flow hood cleaning, etc.)
  • Answer phone and emails promptly and courteously
Requirements
  • Completion of pharmacy program preferred
  • Certification preferred but mandatory after 1st year of employment
  • Two years of experience as pharmacy tech preferred
