Ho'olaulima Government Solutions LLC (HGS) is a Small Business Administration-certified, Native Hawaiian Organization-Owned, 8(a) Small Business that provides services and solutions in the areas of Environmental Services, Information Technology Services, Healthcare Services and Professional and Technical Services to the Department of Defense and other Federal agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist NAVFAC personnel in tasks such as updating letters, point papers, bullet background papers and other correspondence, and assist with training.
  • Assist visitors and contractors in obtaining base access passes for site visits, meetings and other necessary functions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to operate an electronic typewriter and
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply the requirements set forth in the Navy Correspondence Manual.
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply the expectations regarding Navy correspondence, instructions, messages and memorandums. Ability to use the correct format in communication.
  • Ability to understand the varied and advanced functions of one or more automated systems to produce a wide range of documents (Programs such as Inventory Manager, FEDEX, MS Teams, MS Office)
  • Knowledge of office automation systems and programs used for graphs, tables and charts.
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply the specialized Navy terminology and acronyms, the organization's mission, and the roles of coworkers in order to type materials, receive and screen phone calls and visitors, and maintain files.
  • Ability to learn, understand and apply knowledge of the organizational structures and functions to answer routine and non-technical inquires.
